WWE have today announced that SmackDown on 23rd will be a simulcast, with part of the show airing live from the Rolling Loud Miami music festival.

This marks the first time WWE have worked with a music festival for a live broadcast, and follows NXT UK tapings in recent years at Download.

The other half of the show will take place at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland.

There are a further two Rolling Loud festivals later this year in New York and California, so this could be a sign of a longer-term partnership.

A music festival certainly gives scope for the stars at the show to try something different!
