The main event of this weeks Smackdown saw Roman Reigns and his cousin Jey Uso going up against the team of Sheamus and King Corbin.
With Sheamus and Corbin already in the ring Jey Uso made his way to ringside but was attacked by both men before the match got officially underway, with no sign of Reigns.
Effectively making this into a two on one handicap match throughout, the Big Dog’s music hit only when Sheamus signaled for the Brogue Kick. This was enough of a distraction for Uso to rally back with an Enziguri on Sheamus followed by a suicide dive on Corbin.
Reigns made his way up to the apron and, while Jey was getting ready to finish off Sheamus with a big splash from the top rope, tagged himself into the match. Uso hit his move which would’ve ended the match but as he was no longer the legal man he couldn’t get the pin. Reigns then speared Sheamus and pinned him himself to get the win for his team.
Once again Roman Reigns turns up towards the end of the match, hit his finisher and takes the win.
Paul Heyman met Reigns on the stage and gave him his Universal Championship then Jey raises his arm, which was holding the title. Reigns looked at the title, looked at Jey and stared him down as SmackDown went off the air.
