WWE Rescind Termination Of Talent Relations Manager

Whilst the main perpetrator has little chance of returning to the company, WWE have reversed their decision on one of yesterday’s firings.

It was reported early today that a number backstage staff had been fired by WWE, including Senior Direct Mark Carrano, who was held responsible for badly handling talent firings from last week.

Whilst it’s unlikely we’ll see him back with WWE, one man who has already had his termination rescinded is John Cone.

Cone held the role of Senior Manager Of Talent Relations reporting to John Laurinaitis, as well as being a referee for the company.

PWInsider is reporting that Cone had been removed from his backstage role (whilst being kept on by the company as a referee) but that decision has been reversed.

Cone had received a lot of support from wrestlers within the industry, including Mick Foley.

Assuming this is true, it would seemingly be a positive step forward to put someone like Cone back in their talent relations role, which is something which would be at a low given what’s happened in the last 24 hours.
