Whilst it is now clear there won’t be fans in attendance for SummerSlam and the usual furore around the weekend, it seems WWE are looking to capitalise on the virtual market we now live in.
During the weekend they will be offering virtual meet and greets with some of the stars – but it’ll cost you a reasonable amount if you’re interested.
For $125 you can have a meet and greet with Keith Lee (Saturday), Bayley or Braun Strowman (Sunday), and Drew McIntyre or Seth Rollins (Monday).
For your money you’ll get a two-minute conversation with your selected star, as well as be able to purchase exclusive personalised autographed items.
Yes it’s a significant sum of money, however is more a sign of the times we live in considering what WWE would have been expecting to see out of SummerSlam at the start of the year.
