It has been widely rumoured that the WWE have been looking at alternative venues to host this year’s SummerSlam, rather than using the Performance Centre again. However now it seems they are looking at a change for their weekly TV too.

According to US sports host Jon Alba, the WWE are investigating the possibility of hosting both SummerSlam and their weekly TV shows from the Amway Centre in Orlando. This is on the back of Twitter account WrestleVotes, posting various pictures of WWE at the same venue.

The Amway centre is usually a staple for Raw and Smackdown in the WWE calendar and in recent years it has hosted events like The Royal Rumble 2016 and the 2017 Hall Of Fame.

The move would allow the WWE to shake up the look of the weekly TV, giving them more options when shooting the show, creating an atmosphere, and allowing limited fan numbers into the arena like AEW have started to do at Dynamite tapings.
