As expected by many, FTR defeated Kenny Omega and ‘Hangman’ Page at All Out to win the AEW Tag Team Championship and end the former champs’ reign at the 228 day mark.

The story going into the match was of growing tension between Omega and Hangman and that tension continued to bubble during the match. That you won’t be shocked to hear was a classic!

The finish came when Omega inadvertently his his partner with a V-Trigger which FTR followed up with a pair of stuffed piledrivers to Page to secure the victory and the championship belts.

Omega showed visible frustration after the match and teased attacking Page. Instead he left furiously with The Young Bucks and seemed to give his Elite stablemates some kind of ultimatum.

All will become clearer as we head towards Full Gear, which AEW announcedduring last night’s PPV. A six man tag team match pitting Page & FTR against The Elite seems a good bet for the show.
