After Jimmy Uso made his return from injury a few weeks back, he and his brother Jey have not been on exactly the same page.
Whilst Jimmy has clearly wanted to look out for his twin brother, Jey’s idolising of their cousin Roman Reigns has not sat well with Jimmy and has led to tension between the multi-time former tag team champions.
On next week’s SmackDown we will get to see how this tension will affect them in the ring as the Usos will once again team up. Their opponents will be former tag team champions themselves – The Street Profits.
This will be the team’s first match as a duo since March 2020 when they lost to The New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston) on SmackDown in the run up to WrestleMania 36.
Jimmy suffered an injury during his ladder match against Kingston and John Morrison at WrestleMania that kept him out of action until a bout two weeks ago against Cesaro.
It will of course be great to see Jimmy and Jey compete as a team once again. Expect the bout against Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins to play a big part in furthering the wider Anoa’i family feud.
