Last night on Impact, Taya Valkyrie closed a chapter on her career.
The longest-reigning Knockouts Champion left the company, having competed for them since 2017.
The storyline version of her leaving is due to her being behind ‘Who Shot John E Bravo’.
Although Larry D pulled the trigger, it was last night revealed that she was the one who set him up.
She was taken in to custody by ‘Detective’ Tommy Dreamer, who hinted at where she may end up ‘serving her sentence’.
His suggested locations were Jacksonville State Prison or Stamford Maximum Penitentiary.
This could be a nod to her next location – and with her husband John Morrison under WWE contract and previous rumours about her heading there, it would certainly be a likely destination.
Valkyrie took to Twitter to send a simple and emotional farewell to the company she’s been with since 2017.
The courting process has started though – and AEW’s Diamante has offered to post the bail money.
