On last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Team Taz were in full force as Will Hobbs defeated Lee Johnson in short order.

After the match, ‘The Human Suplex Machine’ demanded that AEW officials start taking the FTW Championship seriously.

His microphone was cut, and the same happened when he took Justin Roberts’ from him.

In the end, Cody Rhodes came to the ring to confront Taz.

Eventually Cody would turn his back on Taz, only for Red Hook’s own to lock in the Tazmission on the former two-time TNT Champion.

What was interesting is that throughout this, Taz’s son was at ringside and was even referenced by Rhodes.

Tyler Senerchia is seemingly going to be known as ‘Hook’, and has registered for the trademark to the name today.

Hook refers not only to the old school wrestling style, but also his dad’s well-known billed hometown.

Rhodes referenced that he’d had a hand in training Hook, however at the end of the segment he left with Taz and was holding the FTW Championship.

The story will likely continue for some time, with Rhodes referencing the incident and his own mistake on Twitter.
