Recently released WWE Superstar Rusev has announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Bulgarian, now going by the ring name Miro, broke the news to fans during his latest streaming session on Twitch.

His wife Lana (AKA CJ Perry) recently announced that both of her parents had contracted the disease. Now her husband has followed suit. There is no word on whether Lana herself has tested positive.

Rusev/Miro was released by WWE in mid-April and his 90 day no-compete clause is due to expire any day. There had been strong speculation that he would make an appearance at Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary on Saturday July 18th. Naturally, this news brings that into question.
