WWE superstar Roman Reigns has his sights set on the Universal Championship when he returns and is ready to run through anyone that gets in his way.
In an interview with The Hindu, Reigns said:
“I’m ready to smash people. I’ve been training my butt off during this pandemic. I am gonna get in there and compete at the highest level… hopefully for a title. More specifically, the Universal Championship”
Reigns and current Universal Champion Braun Strowman previously faced off in a series of matches in 2017 which included their memorable Ambulance match. Could we see this feud again in 2020?
Elsewhere in the interview, Roman talked about his new baby twins and the decision to take a break from WWE due to the pandemic and his impending fatherhood.
“For me, I just had to make a choice for my family. The company (WWE) has done everything that they can to make it the safest work environment. I trust my life with my co-workers every time I step foot in the ring, but I just can’t put the same trust when it has my children, my wife and my family involved.“
Whether it is against Strowman, The Fiend or even Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles we can’t wait to see Reigns back in the ring when he decides it is safe for him to return.
