Rumours have been circulating for weeks that WWE is desperate to hold SummerSlam on Sunday August 23rd away from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Originally it was reported that they hoped to have the show in a traditional arena in front of a proper paying audience, but the worsening of the Coronavirus pandemic in the USA has long rendered that an impossibility.

Reports circulated last week that WWE management were looking at an outlandish type location for the event such as a beach or a boat to give the event some personality that the sterile PC lacks.

Well, according to the ever reliable Twitter account, WrestleVotes, they’ve found their location.

With around four weeks until the event, time is running out for WWE to promote this. If WrestleVotes’ track record is anything to go by, we could be in for a unique and interesting setting for the show that will be headlined by Randy Orton challenging Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship.
