Ever since Impact Wrestling aired an intriguing promo on their weekly TV show three weeks ago showing a variety of former WWE stars, speculation has been rife as to which stars may show up at Slammiversary.

Reports over the weekend suggested that two stars in deep discussions with the company were Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

The former IWGP and WWE Tag Team Champions were let go from WWE in April after a four year run with the company after signing new contracts with the company last year.

Now Gary Cassidy of Sportskeeda reports that Gallows and Anderson to Impact is ‘Pretty much a done deal’ with content already filmed ahead of the duo’s arrival.

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet had already reported that Impact had offered the pair ‘Incredibly strong deals’ that would also allow them to work in NJPW in the future as well as to pursue their upcoming side project ‘TalkNShopAMania’

If reports are to be believed, it sounds like Gallows and Anderson will be at least two of the big names unveiled by Impact Wrestling at the Slammiversary PPV on Saturday 18th July. The current card for the event is as follows:

  • Impact World Championship Match: Ace Austin vs. Trey vs. Moose vs. Eddie Edwards
  • Impact Knockouts Championship Match: Jordynne Grace vs. Deona Purrazzo
  • X-Division Championship Match: Willie Mack vs. Chris Bey
