Earlier this week, WrestleTalk reported that Dominik Dijakovic would be the next NXT Superstar to leave the brand for one of the WWE’s main roster brands.
At the time, the report did not state which brand he would be joining.
Now, a further report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggests that this brand has now been decided.
And that brand is Monday Night Raw.
Dijakovic made his NXT debut in September 2017 and has worked his way up to the upper echelons of the card without ever breaking into the main event picture. His most notable rivalry was a series of matches with Keith Lee whilst his most prominent position on Takeover was arguably on ‘NXT Takeover: WarGames’ in November 2019 where he took part in the main event double cage match, teaming with his long time rival, Tommaso Ciampa and Kevin Owens as they defeated The Undisputed Era.
With Matt Riddle officially joining SmackDown this week, it makes sense to send the latest recruit to Raw.
The debut date for Dijakovic on the red brand has not yet been set.
