Daniel Bryan has reportedly signed for AEW. Further details emerge about Daniel Bryan’s future as a wrestler
Speculation has been rampant about the future of Daniel Bryan’s WWE career with reports that he had been left out of merchandise and action figure plans for the remainder of 2021.
It seems now the former WWE Champion is bound for AEW according to Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net
According to the exclusive report; Bryan Danielson (aka Daniel Bryan) is “locked in” and has “100% already signed a contract with AEW”
Additionally the report states that Danielson wanted to work less dates for comparable money, along with the ability to work in Japan and creative input on his character, all of which he has reportedly been granted.
Bryan’s last match in WWE was a Championship vs. Career match with Roman Reigns on April 30th and he was then moved to the alumni section on WWE.com.
If indeed Bryan has been signed, thoughts then turn to when he may debut. The next AEW PPV will be All Out on September 5th which would seem a logical date. However, AEW will hold their biggest show to date as they make their New York City debut in Arthur Ashe Stadium, Queens on September 22nd. If they want to make that event even better, the AEW debut of Bryan Danielson would surely do the trick.
Teaming this with the news that CM Punk has recently been in talks with AEW, the company could be about to have a massive boon in signing two of the premiere talents of the modern era.
