AEW have made Daily’s Place in Jacksonville their home for the majority of 2020.
Also the home of the Khan family’s Jacksonville Jaguars, the venue was ideal during both the no-fan and limited-fan eras.
Whilst we aren’t back to full fan quotas just yet, it seems AEW are about to get a change of scenery.
According to Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam, the company are set to move their February tapings to Miami.
This would include a significant number of tapings for Dynamite and Dark, as well as the company’s Revolution pay-per-view.
Tony Khan also announced a ‘Beach Bash’ for January, which with the recent scheduling changes would likely also take place in Miami.
No venue has yet been confirmed, but as well as providing a change of scenery it would also offer a warmer climate.
The report claims that there have been complaints about the cold climate in the Jacksonville amphitheatre.
If the move does end up happening, it will be interesting to see if they change their setup for the few weeks they are in Miami.
