The much anticipated NXT UK conference call took place this evening and amidst conflicting reports on the brand’s future, it seems closure is not on the cards.
PWInsider amongst others note that talent were told to ready themselves for a return to taping content
This tallies with the tone of the most recent episode of NXT UK which featured new content in the form of promos addressing current rivalries.
This is something not seen in some time and could be an indication that regular programming can be expected sooner rather than later.
The talent we’re also reportedly given strong warnings about personal conduct following a slew of allegations around British talent in recent weeks. PWInsider suggests talent were informed that the company would take a hard line on future allegations with a zero tolerance policy on any future allegations.
This warning comes after the confirmed releases of Travis Banks and Ligero, the reported suspension of Joe Coffey and reported release of two NXT UK referees.
Various talent have taken to Twitter to express their excitement about getting back to work so hopefully we should expect action in an NXT UK to resume shortly.
