The National Wrestling Alliance released a statement on social media this evening announcing the immediate resignation of vice-president David Lagana.

As a result of the resignation, all production on NWA programming has been temporarily halted.

Lagana’s resignation comes on the back of allegations of sexual assault made by independent wrestler Liz Savage on social media against Lagana earlier this week.

Lagana formerly worked with WWE, TNA and ROH before being named vice-president of the NWA in 2017.

No other comment has been made by anyone affiliated with the NWA and no further details have been made available.
