With AJ Styles now appearing on Smackdown, apparently due to a falling out with then-head writer Paul Heyman, it would appear WWE have made a quiet trade in the other direction.
PWInsider are reporting that Mustafa Ali, who at one point was the favourite to be named the Smackdown hacker, has moved from the blue brand to Raw.
Having not competed on TV since December, it would have been a strong role in which to bring him back on to screens. Even if that had been the plan, it seems to have been scuppered with this move.
Ali debuted for WWE in 2016 in the Cruiserweight Classic, and has taken part in many notable feuds including with Daniel Bryan. This move shuld help to give the former police officer a new spark on Monday nights.
