It had to happen didn’t it?

Following on from his recent involvement with WWE that began at the Royal Rumble, Bad Bunny struck gold by becoming the new 24/7 Champion.

The win came during a backstage interview with Bunny and his buddy Damien Priest. Their chat was interrupted by a commotion caused by Akira Tozawa ambushing R-Truth just off screen and pinning him for the comedy title.

As you will already be expecting, the reign did not last long, even by 24/7 standards. After backing into Priest as he celebrated his win, Tozawa was launched into a cargo crate by the newest member of the Raw roster, who then encouraged his guest to cover the ninja and win the belt.

It is expected that the pairing of Priest and Bunny will face The Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania and this title win is further indication that WWE’s latest celebrity guest is planning on being a regular part of the company for the next little while.
