Tonight’s edition of Dynamite may feature the start of the AEW World Title Eliminator tournament, however the challenger for the championship at Full Gear has already been announced.
Current title-holder Jon Moxley has confirmed that he will put the title on the line against Eddie Kingston on 7th November.
The hype video starts with some complimentary words from Moxley towards his challenger, before it turns sour after Kingston’s recent actions.
When Eddie Kingston signed a contract with AEW nobody was happier about it than me because nobody understands better where Eddie comes from, what he has grinded through for the last 18 years. I loved Eddie Kingston.
When Kingston last faced Moxley for the title, the match ended when ‘The Mad King’ passed out.
After complaining that he never actually tapped out, Moxley has set the stipulation this time – and it will be an “I Quit” match.
Kingston has quickly established himself as one of the top talkers in the company and this match with Moxley, with a couple of weeks more build than he had last time, could help cement him in the top echelons even further.
