Last night on Raw, Drew McIntyre defeated Randy Orton to win back the WWE Championship.
The match, announced last week main-evented the programme and ended when McIntyre reversed an RKO into a Claymore.
This ends Orton’s 14th title reign after around three weeks. He had defeated the Scotsman for the belt at the Hell In A Cell PPV in October.
The win means that McIntyre starts his second reign and will go into Survivor Series on Sunday to face Smackdown’s Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.
It is the first time the WWE Championship has changed hands on Raw since December 14th 2015 when Reigns defeated Sheamus in a title vs. career match.
