Impact Wrestling arguably stole the weekend with the shock appearance of Jay White at the conclusion of Saturday’s Slammiversary PPV.
Following the PPV the company held a set of tapings for a number of Impact episodes as well as several rounds of the Homecoming tournament.
These tapings included a host of major debuts and returns that are going to be the talk of the wrestling world when they play out on TV.

Maybe the biggest shock of this next set of tapings sees Frankie Kazarian make his Impact Wrestling return. The former X-Division and TNA Tag Team Champion brought his new Elite Hunter character over from AEW when he teamed with Eddie Edwards and Sami Callihan to defeat Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers.
Speaking of The Good Brothers, they provide the opposition for Jay White’s first Impact match. They defeated Switchblade and his partner Chris Bey.
In other tag team action, the former Aiden English made his Impact debut as part of the Homecoming mixed tag team tournament. He partnered with Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo to advance in a tournament they are hotly tipped to win.
In the same tournament, Brian Myers selected a new, unexpected partner….none other than Missy Hyatt!
All of these major happenings suggest Impact Wrestling is putting their best foot forward ahead of October’s Bound For Glory PPV which seems set to be a huge inter-promotional card featuring representatives from AEW, AAA, NJPW and possibly the NWA.
