Ahead of AEW All Out this weekend, Hangman Page has been officially kicked out of The Elite as a result of a betrayal on last week’s Dynamite.

It has been brewing for a while and on this last week’s edition of AEW it was confirmed: Adam ‘Hangman’ Page has been kicked out of The Elite.

The catalyst was the gauntlet match on Dynamite that pitted The Young Bucks against FTR, The Natural Nightmares and Best Friends, the winner of which would go on to face Page and Kenny Omega for the AEW Tag Team Championship at AEW All Out on Saturday 5th September.

During the match Nick Jackson went to break up a pin attempt on his brother but Hangman stopped him doing so, ultimately leaving his new friends FTR as the winners.

This betrayal was enough for The Bucks to make official what has been obvious for a while. Hangman is out of The Elite.

What makes Saturday’s match more intriguing is that Page’s partner Omega is still very much part of The Elite while Page will be across the ring from his new buddies.

The smart money has to be on a title change this weekend. The even smarter money is on the match being a work of art!
