Former WWE Star Andrade Makes Highly Anticipated AEW Debut

Former WWE star Andrade made his AEW debut on this week’s Dynamite to the delight of fans who have long wanted him to make the jump to the company.


With the wave of WWE releases coming thick and fast this year, fans have been constantly speculating which of the released wrestlers will make their way to All Elite Wrestling.

On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, one of the more anticipated names arrived in the company as Andrade made his debut.

Now known as Andrade El Idolo, he seemingly aligned himself with Vickie Guerrero who Introduced him in in the middle of a Mark Henry in ring promo.

He told viewers that he had previously been known as the face of Latinos but going forward he wanted to be seen as the face of All Elite Wrestling.

Since being released by WWE in March 2021, fans have been desperate to see the former NXT Champion back on screen to fulfil the potential he was never given the chance to reach in WWE.

He has already signed to face AEW Champion Kenny Omega for the AAA Mega Championship at AAA TripleMania so it will be interesting to see if this is addressed on AEW television.
