First Round Results From Japanese Side Of AEW Women’s Title Eliminator

Four women have advanced to the quarter finals of the AEW Women’s Championship Eliminator Tournament after the first-round matches took place in Japan.

Last night the four first-round matches in the AEW Women’s Title Eliminator tournament from Japan were released.

Airing on YouTube, the results for those matches were:

  • Yuka Sakazaki defeated Mei Suruga.
  • Emi Sakura defeated Veny.
  • Ryo Mizunami defeated Maki Itoh.
  • Aja Kong defeated Rin Kadokura.

In the next round, Sakazaki will face Sakura and Mizunami will take on Kong.

The matches were filmed in an empty arena environment, with Excalibur providing solo commentary.

Another first-round match will take place on AEW Dynamite this Wednesday, as Serena Deeb going up against the returning Riho.
