On this week’s episode of SmackDown, Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler captured the tag team championship on the WWE’s blue brand.

The Dirty Dawgs, wearing pink and black Hart Foundation style garb, picked up the win over The Street Profits to end Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins’ lengthy reign.

The win came at the end of a solid 15 minute bout that saw Ford fall victim to a spinebuster/Zig-Zag combo for the win.

The Profits had enjoyed one of the lengthier title reigns of recent times. They captured the Raw Tag Team Championship from Seth Rollins and Murphy in March 2020. In October, they literally swapped their belts with The New Day’s SmackDown titles when both teams changed brands in WWE’s annual draft.

This is Ziggler and Roode’s second title reign as a team after previously holding the Raw titles.
