Many were surprised when Charlotte Flair, having originally been slated for a match at WWE WrestleMania 37, was not part of the event.
Whilst there were plenty of rumours as to why she was removed (most notably with Andrade making claims against the company), she did at least make her presence known at the Raw after WrestleMania.
‘The Queen’ came to the ring ahead of the Raw Women’s Championship rematch between Asuka and new title holder Rhea Ripley.
Making it clear that she was disgruntled at being taken out of WrestleMania, in particular referencing the fact her scheduled contest with Lana was called off due to Lana being pregnant, Flair went on to say that she doesn’t seek opportunities – she is the opportunity.
This wasn’t the last we’d see of Flair, as she returned to cause Ripley and Asuka’s match to end in a no contest.
‘The Queen’ attacked both women on the outside, leaving them laying after kicking both their heads in to the electronic board surrounding the ring.
Anyone else calling a triple-threat match at WWE WrestleMania Backlash?
