AEW’s John Silver: Being WWE Enhancement Talent Like Walking On Eggshells

It would seem John Silver is proud of how extra talent is treated in AEW, and that it’s a far cry from his experiences with WWE.

John Silver has had a sharp rise to fame in AEW as a member of the Dark Order.

Bringing a somewhat comedic element to the team whilst also being able to handle himself in the ring, Silver has been out of action in recent weeks due to injury.

However, it seems he has found a home in AEW after being an enhancement talent for WWE in the past.

Speaking on The Angle Podcast, Silver spoke of how some people won’t even look at you when you’re working for WWE, and that it’s something he is proud of in AEW.

It’s not a good feeling even though you’re happy to do it. There are plenty of people who are nice, but there’s also plenty that won’t even look at you like you better not even go near them. Like don’t contact them or they’ll bury you. It’s a little too much.

In AEW, I like when people come up to me and say who they are and introduce themselves. You’re walking on eggshells constantly in WWE, and it’s really not a fun thing to do besides eat their catering. Doing extra work was awful there.

Silver has been out of action due to a number of injuries since his TNT Championship match against Darby Allin on AEW Dynamite back in March, but will hopefully return to action soon.
