On their first Wednesday night running unopposed without competition from NXT, AEW Dynamite saw a huge increase in their TV ratings.

It has been reported the overnight figures stood at 1.219 million, with the often talked about 18-49 demographic at .44. This was their second biggest audience since their debut in October 2019.

With a viewership last week of 688,000 (directly up against the huge night one of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver), this week represented almost a doubling of the audience.

AEW spent the week heavily promoting what was a stacked episode of Dynamite, with the focus being placed on a tag team title match between the Young Bucks v PAC & Ray Fenix and an appearance by Mike Tyson.

On the night, the show was headlined by a chaotic Falls Count Anywhere match for the TNT Championship that saw Darby Allin successfully defend the title against Matt Hardy.
