1977 – In a sold out Madison Square Garden, Dusty Rhodes defeated WWWF Champion Superstar Billy Graham and (grandfather of The Rock) Peter Maivia beat George Steele with both matches ending via countout. The main event of the night saw Chief Jay Strongbow, Larry Zbyszko and Tony Garea beat Captain Lou Albano, Ken Patera and Stan Stasiak in a 3 out of 5 falls match.

1993 – NJPW Osaka Show came from Japan where Hulk Hogan defeated Keiji Muto (The Great Muta). Other famous names on the card included Jushin Thunder Liger, Brutus Beefcake, Jake Roberts and Road Warrior Hawk.

1999 – In Charlottle, North Carolina, WWF Unforgiven was held to just under 16,000 fans at ringside. In the main event Triple H won the vacant WWF Championship in a Six-Pack Challenge against The Rock, Mankind, Kane, The Big Show, and The British Bulldog with the special referee being ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. Unfortunately the PPV will be remembered for the Kennel From Hell match between The Big Bossman and Al Snow, which was a cage match inside the hell in the cell structure with ‘vicious’ rottweilers in between. Thankfully the gimmick wasn’t used again.

2009 – ROH: Glory by Honor VIII: The Final Countdown came from the Manhattan Center, New York. Bryan Danielson defeated Nigel McGuinness via submission in the nights main event and would be the last time either man wrestled for Ring Of Honor before leaving for other companies. McGuinness ended up in TNA after failing a physical for WWE while Bryan Danielson would switch his name around to Daniel Bryan and make his way up the ladder to later become one of WWEs top stars in the future.

2017 – On WWE’s 205 Live Neville beat Ariya Daivari by submission in what would be Neville’s last televised match for the company. He would quit the following week.
