1999 – Arguably the worst PPV in wrestling history took place at the Casino Magic Complex in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. ‘Heroes Of Wrestling’ featured a roster of well known names from the late 1980s and early 1990s including The Bushwhackers, Jimmy Snuka and One Man Gang. The main event featured Jim Neidhart and King Kong Bundy facing Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts and Yokozuna. Originally this was meant to be two singles matches but the call was made to send Bundy and Yokozuna, who were set to be in the main event, were sent to the ring to make Neidhart vs. Roberts a tag team match when Roberts, clearly under the influence, began to intimate lewd acts with his snake.

2006 – On a SmackDown taping, Chris Benoit defeated Mr. Kennedy to win the United States Championship.

2010 – TNA Bound For Glory took place at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. In the main event, Jeff Hardy won the vacant TNA World Heavyweight title in a triple threat match against Kurt Angle and Mr. Anderson. After the match, the long teased ‘they’ revealed themselves as both Hulk Hogan and new champion Jeff Hardy turned heel to join forces with Eric Bischoff, Abyss and Jeff Jarrett to form the faction that would soon become known as Immortal.
