1998 – Sam Muchnick, the longstanding St. Louis wrestling promoter died of internal bleeding in the city at the age of 93.

2003 – Rey Mysterio won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship from Tajiri at a SmackDown taping in Laredo, Texas.

2007 – Ring Of Honor ‘Final Battle’ took place at the Manhattan Center in New York City. In the main event, The Age Of The Fall (Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black) won the ROH Tag Team Championship from Mark and Jay Briscoe.
